Born on December 18, 1980 when Mary Christina Aguilera in Staten Island, New York, this beautiful petite is an American pop / R & B singer and songwriter of Irish and Spanish descent. Christina lived with her younger sister Rachel, and her parents until she was seven, but moved to Rochester, Pennsylvania, with her grandmother after her parents divorced.
Christina Aguilera knows what she wants as a child. She started competing in local talent shows and singing competitions at an early age, where she was known as "girl with the big voice". Because of its popularity, Christine peers teased her at school and came to a point where their house was demolished and reduced their tires. The family eventually left and moved to Rochester, near the town of Wexford and Christina talent unknown to the public.
In March 1990, Christina joined the Star Search but lost. When she got home, Christina was invited to wake up the show with Larry Richert to Etta James' "Sunday Kind of Love" which she sang on Star Search to perform.
