Priyanka Chopra was born July 18, 1982 in the family of Captain Dr Ashok Chopra and Dr. Madhu Chopra. She had a very varied upbringing. She began her training at La Martini Girls College in Lucknow, as a resident student, a short stay at Maria Goretti College in Bareilly prepared her for further studies in the USA. After completion of the tenth year in Boston, Massachusetts, decided to become a software engineer or a criminal psychologist.

I love Indian music and dance, a sense of writing poems and short stories, reading, especially biographies, and worked for many social programs. She is the stars after completing her education. She is a movie buff and would like to join the Galaxy if a good offer comes.

Priyanka was born on July 18, 1982 in the Chopra family consisting of her father, Dr. Ashok and mom, Dr. Madhu (nee Akhauri) and have a little brother. Her dad is Punjabi-speaking, while her mother is from Bihar. As a child, she suffered from asthma and was very close to her father. Her family affectionately called her Mimi.

While she was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, she also spent her childhood in Rae Barreilly, in Uttar Pradesh and Lucknow, where he was admitted to the school of La Martini Girls'. These frequent re-locations took place as Ashok was a doctor in the Indian Army. She subsequently re-located to the U.S., where she studied Newton's Newton North High School and then in Cedar Rapid's John F. Kennedy High School in Massachusetts and Iowa, respectively.

In 2000 he returned to India and enrolled in high school and Jai Hind Basant Singh Institute of Science in Churchgate, Bombay, but had to leave abruptly when she was crowned Miss India. She was later crowned Miss World in the same year - the year that turned out to be the year for Indian Beauty Queens - as Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza was also Miss Universe and Miss Asia-Pacific region, respectively. It is ironic that banned beauty contests in conservative Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

After completing his duties as a beauty queen when she appeared on the screen of mica in India in the Tamil film 'Thamizhan'.

She debuted in Bollywood with 'Hero' in 2002 and then continued to act in more than 28 films, as well as lent her voice as a playback singer in 'Barsaat (2005)'. She won 11 awards to date for her performance in 'Andaaz', 'Aitraaz', 'Hero', 'Mujhse Shaad Karogi' and 'Krrish'.

Since June 2007, she is involved in the filming of 'Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam', 'Kajri', 'Drona', 'London Dreams', 'Qurban', 'Chamki Chameli', 'Love Story 2050' amongst others.
